What is the FAFSA? The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the single most important step towards finding aid for two and four year college programs.
Join us for the 2025 FAFSA completion events, both in person or virtual.
Get free help to file; plus, your attendance will enter you into a drawing to win cash for college.
Filing the FAFSA takes on average less than 25 minutes to complete. You’ll receive professional, personalized help from a trained volunteer when you attend one of our 40+ statewide events.
Registration is encouraged for our in-person events and required for our virtual events.

We recommend the dependent student attend event with parent so FAFSA can be submitted the same day.

2023 Untaxed income records, such as child support or veteran’s non-education benefits

Information from savings, investments, business assets, and farm assets (if applicable)

Driver’s license, cell phone, social security number, date of birth for parents, parental marriage or divorce dates, Student FAFSA ID, Alien Registration card or permanent resident card (if not a U.S. citizen)
